Hello, Singapore!

After an hour weather-related delay of our departure from Japan, we have arrived safely in Singapore. The flight was six hours -- about 3800 miles.  It is 3:30 a.m. on June 13 and we are all ready for bed so we can be ready for a meeting in the morning. Initial reaction to Singapore: HOT - even in the wee hours of the morning.  Of course, it is only 85 miles from the equator, so what did I expect? I can not wait to learn more about this country and its people. But, for now, it is "good night."
