Hello, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

It is 10 p.m. on Sunday night and I am in Kuala Lumpur, a city of six million people. We have checked in at the Mandarin Oriental. I have never seen such a beautiful hotel. Unbelievable! When I look out my window I am looking at the Petronas Twin Towers, but more about that in another post. First impression: wonderful, smooth roads. I guess the climate has a lot to do with that. I even saw a rest area -- first one in Asia. There are lots of skyscrapers and it is HOT and HUMID. Meetings tomorrow and then, hopefully, some time to explore.
